How It Happened - Game One

Daniel Santos doubled down the left field line, advanced on a ground out and Kyle Olympia singled to bring him home for the first run of the game. The bases loaded up for Derek Laferriere and he drew a walk to add a run. A three-run home run from Trey Dunn capped off a four-run third to put the Warriors up 4-2. Solo home runs in the fourth and fifth innings extended the lead to 6-2. The Warriors put up another three runs in the bottom of the seventh to extend the lead to 9-2. Cunningham's solo home run cut the lead down in the top of the eighth. With bases loaded in the ninth, Murillo hit into a double play as a runner came across and Cunningham hit his second home run to cut the deficit to 9-6. The rally was cut short with a ground out on the next at-bat.

How It Happened - Game Two

A three-run homer for the Warriors put them up 3-0 to start game two. Justin Johnson was able to clear the bases with two runners on to cut the lead in the third. In the fourth, Westmont placed a runner on 90 feet away with a two-out triple and scored on the next at-bat.

With runners on the corners, Nicholas Cook came in to pinch run for the first base runner. Cook went to steal second and the errant throw to toss him out allowed both runners to advance and for a run to score. Andrews singled on the next at-bat to bring Cook home and tie the game.

In the bottom of the eighth and one out, The Gators intentionally walked Colin Callahan to load the bases and try and induce a double play on the next at-bat. But the Warriors drew a walk and were able to take the win.
