ROHNERT PARK, Calif. — The San Francisco State baseball team's eight game win streak snapped in game two of the doubleheader with Sonoma State. After handling Sonoma 9-4 in game one, the Gators forced Sonoma to go extra innings in the seven inning game two, only to be walked off 5-4.
- SF State sits at 24-15 on the season and 20-11 in the CCAA. Sonoma sits at 12-31 and 9-25 in the CCAA.
- Daniel Murillo went 7-for-10 between both games with a double in both games. He moved behind teammate Stephen Espinoza for the second best batting average in the conference at .413.
- Justin Johnson hit his sixth home run of the year and 21st career home run. Kyle Olimpia hit his fourth.
- The Gator pitching staff gave up four hit-by pitches and six walks in game two.
- Michael Cunningham hit his first triple of the season to bring the Gators' total to 11 on the season.

AJ Schrader drew a two-out hit by pitch and Lafarierre, Olimpia and Murillo all hit doubles to give the Gators a 3-0 lead in the second. The Seawolves cut the lead down to run with a two-run home run by Max Shabeatari in the bottom of the inning.
Justin Johnson got a run back with a hit that cleared over the center field fence. Olimpia fired another home run in the top of the fourth to extend the lead to 5-2.
Allred got plunked in the fourth and Cunningham brought hit home with a triple roped down the right field line.
Jackson Wood drew a walk and an error by the shortstop allow Espinoza to cross and Cunningham to score. Wood crossed home plate off a wild pitch to make it a 8-2 game heading into the bottom of the fourth. Sonoma hit a two-out RBI single in the seventh to cut the Gators lead down. With runners on the corners, in the eighth, Olimpia hit a Sac bunt to take that run back. The Gators ran into some trouble with bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the inning but only allowed one run off a ground-out.
- Anthony Alvarez went 2.2 innings in a set-up start. He allowed three hits, two runs and a walk through 2.2 innings
- Jake Spence pitched to one batter to get the Gators out of the third. He only tossed one pitch.
- Nathan Shinn (7-2) close out the game. He gave up six hits and only two runs while tossing five strikeouts.

Garrett Barto's two run moonshot in the first gave Sonoma their first lead in the series. The Gators draw back-to-back walks to open the fourth.
Kyle Olimpia hit an RBI single to get the Gators on the board. A fly-out from
Nicholas Cook allowed
Stephen Espinoza to advance to third. Olimpia stole second and Espinoza came home on the throw to tie the game.
In the bottom of the sixth, Sonoma loaded up the bases with one out. Tyler Olson struck out a batter for out number two but a single to right plated two runners to give Sonoma the lead back. The Gators drew three straight walks in the top of the third. A wild pitch allowed one run to cross. Espinoza went up to bat with bases loaded again. He singled to bring in one run but the second runner was tagged out at the plate. Sonoma had a runner on second with two outs. Joey Replogle singled to left but the throw to home was called out to continue the game. In the bottom of the ninth, Sonoma hit back-to-back singles with no outs. A wild pitch advanced both runners and a RBI single by Marcellus Henry walked it off for Sonoma.
- Aaron Roberts went 2.2 innings to start the game, giving up two runs off the home run but also plunking three batters and gave up a walk.
- The Gators sent out seven pitchers after Roberts with Jake Spence giving up the RBI single in the walk-off
- Marcellus Henry not only hit the game winning RBI single but got the win on the mound.
