TURLOCK, Calif. – The No. 23 San Francisco State softball team erupted for 16 runs en route to a doubleheader sweep of Stanislaus State on Friday, 5-3 and 11-7.
- SF State, which is ranked No. 23 in the NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll, improves to 30-16 overall and 17-13 in CCAA action but remains in third place. The last-place Warriors fall to 13-29 overall and 8-22 in conference action.
- The Gators scored a season-high 11 runs on 15 hits in game two. The 15 hits were the second most in a game this season by the Gators.
- Freshman Kharime Caratachea came up huge in the circle for the Gators on Friday. The freshman earned the save in game one and earned the win in relief in game two.
- Rylee McDaniel went 4-for-7 with three RBI, two runs, and a pair of walks.
- Lexi Holihan went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a walk.
- Marissa Jordan went 2-for-3 with an RBI in game two.

- After being somewhat quiet on the base paths lately, the Gators went 7-for-8 in steal attempts on Friday. Kai DeLeon had three while Marley Gonzales and Daniella Guerrera each swiped a pair.
- DeLeon has 60 hits on the season and ties former teammate Brylynn Vallejos (2019-20, 2022) for fourth all-time on the program's career hits list with 206. That givers her sole possession of seventh place all-time, passing Lea Cardenas (2008-11) and Natalie Batista (2001-03). She drew three walks, bringing her career total to 59, which passes Lea Cardenas' (2008-11) 56 for seventh all-time. Guerrera went 4-for-4 in game two with a walk and three runs scored. She also drove in two runs and is now just one away from joining the century club. Currently, only five Gators have recorded 100 or more RBI in a career.
- The Gators turned their 28th double play of the season.

- In the fifth, Guerrera and McDaniel tallied RBI singles and pinch runner Olivia Clavero scored on a wild pitch to put the Gators up 6-3.
- SF State hung another three-spot in the sixth. With one out, DeLeon, Gonzales, and Guerrera all walked and Cardwell brought a pair home with her single through the left side. Jordan added a two-out infield single to make it 9-3.
- Guerrera and Cardwell added RBI singles in the seventh to make it 11-3 and the insurance proved somewhat necessary. Beach hit a two-run homer in the bottom half of the seventh to pull the Warriors to 11-5. That chased reliever Xochitl Atayde.
