- The Gators struggled attacking in both games. They finished with a .129 attacking percentage against St. Cloud State and .011 against Simon Fraser.
- SF State finished with 17 aces between the two games including seven from Grace Witcher.
- Tamiya Wilson now sits in eighth with 111 career service aces. She added two more against Simon Fraser.
- Witcher finished with a double-double against Simon Fraser, landing 12 kills and recording 14 digs.
- Lindsey Olsen finished with five blocks against Simon Fraser.

After the Gators came within one of St. Cloud's 9-8 lead, the Huskies closed out the set only allowing two more points by the Gators. Gators started on top in set two thanks to three aces from Witcher and two from Wilson. After being up 11-7, the Huskies used a 7-0 run to reclaim the lead and never look back. The Gators had their best offensive performance in set three, hitting .323. They came back within three down 22-19 thanks in part to a pair of setter kills from
Melanie Hewlett. The Huskies would not let the Gators get any closer to the lead and close out set three with an ace.

The Gators pounced early and led by as much as seven in the first set. Simon Fraser called a timeout down 17-11 and flipped the script, only allowing one kill by the Gators while coming back to take the set. The two teams exchanged leads throughout set two.
Alana Larson landed an ace to put the Gators up 24-22 and in position to win the set. Simon Fraser three straight kills to take set point away and swing it back in their direction. Both teams traded off who had set point for several more rallies.
Lilly Rix landed a kill to put the Gators up 30-29 and an error gave them the set two victory.
Trailing by as many as six in set three, Gators came back within one down 10-9 thanks to back-to-back kills from
Grace Witcher. A service error gave teh Gators the serve back up 23-21 and another Simon Fraser error gave them the set point up 24-21. Simon Fraser rattled off two more kills before Witcher shut the door with a kill to give the Gators the match. The attack struggled in the next two sets as the Gators finished with hitting percentages of -.065 and -.222 in the set four and five losses.
