How It Happened

Parsa Hadjighasemi banked a three-point shot to give the Gators a 15-10 lead in the first half with 13:49 on the clock. An 8-0 run swung the lead back to the Warriors but Hadjighasemi responded with a three and Martinez scored on a lay-up to reclaim the lead. The Gators led by seven with 6:22 to go but the Warriors outscored the Gators 14-6 to close out the half with Martinez the only Gator able to score field goals.

Down 38-37 to start the second half, the Warriors scored on their first two possessions to extend the lead to five. Markees Williams engineered back-to-back scoring plays to tie the game up. Tied at 45-45, the Warriors used a 6-0 scoring to take the lead back. Williams would get fouled and make both shots at the line but the Warriors scored on the next possession and led by no less than six the rest of the way.
