SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State women's basketball team scored 25 points in the fourth quarter to beat Cal State San Marcos 69-57.

- Geriah Bradley had a game-high 19 points. Athena Brombacher chipped in 16 points.
- The Gators played their cleanest game of the season and only turned the ball over four times. They had 10 personal fouls called against them.
- The Cougars had 17 turnovers and the Gators were able to capitalize and score 20 points off turnovers.
- The Gators were also able to utilize opportunities at the line and went 17-for-23.
- Kaity Haan led San Marcos with a double-double off 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Samantha Myhr's three-point basket gave the Gators an early lead early in the game. Both teams could not score for another minute and a half before Sydney Hani tied it up at 4-4. The two teams traded leads five times the rest of the first. Deonna Mayfield drove in a lay-up to give the Gators a 11-10 edge at the end of the quarter. SF State outshot the Cougars 8-3 in the first three and a half minutes before both teams went cold. Brombacher had a pair of free throws at 4:25 to end the scoring drought. The Cougars got within five but the Gators responded with an 8-0 run to take their first double-digit lead of the game. The Gators forced six turnovers in the second quarter and did not record any on their end.Â
Up 31-20 to start the third quarter, Myhr kicked things off with a three. A 6-0 scoring run from the Cougars forced the Gators to call a timeout up 36-30. San Marcos was able to trim the Gators lead down to a possession near the end of the quarter but Bradley responded to put the Gators up 44-39 in the final seconds. The Cougars cut the Gators lead to one in the first minute and a half in the final frame. Gianna Darté banked a three on the next possession to give the Gators a little bit of a cushion. Up by two with 4:34 to go, the Gators went on a 7-0 run to extend the lead. With a little over a minute to go and up by seven, the Gators were fouled on ever possession. They finished 8-for-9 at the line to maintain the lead and win.
