SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State women's basketball team came back from a deficit to cut the lead to ten in the fourth but ultimately fell to Cal Poly Humboldt.

- SF State falls to 2-11 on the season and 0-7 in the CCAA. Cal Poly Humboldt improves to 9-4 and remains perfect in CCAA action at 7-0.
- Athena Brombacher had her second double-double of the season, grabbing a season-high 14 boards while scoring 10 points.
- Geriah Bradley matched her career best with seven assists.
- The Gators shot 35.2 percent from the field and only 21.1 percent from three. Humboldt shot 42.2 percent from the field and 35 percent from deep.
- Humboldt had 20 points from the bench while the Gators only had 10.
The Gators played Humboldt close to start the first quarter but turnovers and missed shots plagued the Gators in the final four minutes. Down 16-12, Darte was fouled and went to the line and got one in to make it a one possession game. Karli Muagututia opened the second quarter with her first basket of the season to cut the lead to a point but Humboldt responded with a 6-0 run. The Gators got back within three with 5:43 to go in the second but SF State's offense went cold and the Lumberjacks went on a 14-0 run ro take a 36-19 lead with 1:45 to go. Geriah Bradley drew three straight fouls to go to the line and added four points for the Gators but SF State would trail 39-23 heading into the locker room.
The Gators stayed even with the Lumberjacks but could not make up any ground in the third as they outscored them 15-12. After shooting poorly from three in the first three frames, the Gators made back-to-back threes to cut the lead down by ten with 5:37 to go.
