How It Happened

The Dons opened the game with a 7-0 run before McNight was able to score a second chance basket. The Gators trailed 11-3 after the first media time-out and struggled to get shots to land out of the timeout, scoring most of their points at the line. The Dons finished the first half with a 46-21 lead.

The Gators played the Dons closer in the second half and only lost the second half 43-35.
