NAMPA, Idaho - The San Francisco State softball team fell to Northwest Nazarene twice, dropping game one 9-1 and game two 8-0
- The Gators fell to 6-5 on the season.Northwest Nazarene improves to 9-4.
- Anaissa Del Rio had her first hit of the season.
- The Gators had five errors between the two games.
- SF State finished with six hits on the day and four walks. No hit went for extra bases.
- The Nighthawks finished with 19 hits between the two games.
Keana Bell hit an RBI single up the middle to put the Nighthawks on top after the first inning. Northwest Nazarene put up three runs with two outs in the second and put up five in the fourth inning to take a 9-0 lead. Anaissa Del Rio broke up the no-hitter in the top of the fifth with a single to left. Anyssa Luttig drew a walk to move Del Rio into scoring position and Olivia Mares hit an RBI single to put the Gators on the board. The Gators could not get anything going after that and ending the game in five innings.
- Alexis Perez (4-2) went three innings and gave up nine hits and seven runs
- Tori Hernandez pitched an inning in relief and gave up two runs and two hits.
- Miah Lusk (4-2) had a dominate performance for the Nighthawks, striking out the Gators 10 times and only gave up two hits in the fifth.
Northwest Nazarene scored three unearned runs in the second. The Gators committed three errors in the bottom of the inning. The Nighthawks had a pair of runners in scoring position in the third and brought both home off a single down the left field line. Northwest Nazarene put up three more runs in the fourth and the Gators went down in order in the fifth to end the game.
- Kharime Caratachea (2-3) gave up eight hits and eight runs, five of which were earned, in four innings of work.
- Riley McGee earned the shut-out victory, giving up four hits and a walk
