SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - The San Francisco State women's soccer team dropped its first contest of the season at Dominican 1-0.
- SF State falls to 0-1-1 on the season. Dominican improves to 3-1
- The Gators did not take any shots in the first half and finished with four in the second. Kiralyn Kuramoto had two of those shots with one on goal.
- Dominican had 11 shots including two from the eventual goal scorer Carson Warfield
- SF State did not take a corner kick while Dominican had four.
- Fouls were fairly even with SF State edging Dominican 13-11.
After a quiet first half, Takoah Castillo shot the ball in the 52 minute and Peyton Graham made the stop. Right after the ball was saved, Janae Schwan passed the ball to Warfield who scored for the Penguins.
Peyton Graham (0-1-1) made four saves and allowed one goal. She faced 11 shots. Michelle Salas Viniegra (3-1) made two saves to pick up the clean sheet.
