2008: Received the Gators’ Most Valuable Player award after starting all 29 matches at outside hitter ... Captured second-team All-CCAA honors after averaging a team-best 3.37 kills per set, which ranked fifth in the conference ... Moved into third place on SF State’s single-season record list after finishing with 1,118 attack attempts, while her 367 kills rank fifth ... Led the Gators with a .961 serving percentage and was also tops on the team with 11 double-doubles ... Finished second on the squad with a .225 hitting percentage and ranked third with 2.54 digs per game ... Posted the team’s single-match highs of 69 attempts vs. Sonoma State (Nov. 1) and 27 kills vs. Notre Dame de Namur (Aug. 30) and at Cal State Stanislaus (Oct. 11) ... Also notched 63 attempts at Sonoma State (Sept. 26) and vs. Cal State Monterey Bay (Oct. 22) ... Named to the SF State Athletics Dean's List.
PRIOR TO SF STATE: Transferred from Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Ore., where she received second-team All-America recognition as sophomore in 2007 … That same season, she was named the most valuable player in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges … Also received first-team all-conference accolades as a freshman … Graduated from Woodland Christian High in 2006 … Captured the Central Valley Christian League’s MVP award following her junior and senior campaigns … Also competed in basketball and soccer for the Saints, earning first-team all-conference accolades in both sports as a junior and senior.
