Biography

2009: Appeared in 29 of the Gators’ 31 matches as a junior ... Finished the year with 118 digs, eight assists and five aces ... Ranked third on the team with a .963 serving percentage ... Posted a season-high 14 digs to help SF State upset then-No. 2 UC San Diego (Nov. 6) ... Also managed 13 digs vs. Cal State Monterey Bay (Oct. 27).

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Transferred from Napa Valley College where she captured first-team All-Bay Valley Conference honors in 2007 and 2008 after helping the Storm to a pair of league championships ... Was also selected to the All-Yuba College Tournament team and was voted Most Inspirational as a member of Napa’s softball squad ... Graduated in 2007 from St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School ... Garnered first-team All-Bay Shore Athletic League accolades and was named her team’s most valuable player during her senior campaign ... Earned second-team All-BSAL honors during her junior season and also received honorable mention as a sophomore ... Also competed in softball, soccer and basketball during her prep career ... Was a finalist for the Vallejo Times-Herald Athlete of the Year award in 2006 ... Helped the Bruins capture BSAL softball titles in 2004, 2005 and 2007, while the 2006 squad won the CIF North Coast Section championship ... Earned a spot on the Times-Herald’s All-Region softball team and claimed her squad’s Coaches Award following the 2006 season ... Received All-BSAL recognition on two occasions in soccer, collecting first-team honors during her senior campaign to go along with a second-team selection as a junior ... Was also a two-time recipient of the Bruins’ Most Inspirational Award in 2006 and 2007 and was named her squad’s Most Improved Player as a sophomore in 2005.
