2008: Was one of two Gators to start all 29 matches ... Recorded the team’s best single-match attack percentage of .611 on 12-of-18 hitting with just one error in SF State’s dramatic come-from-behind victory at Westmont (Sept. 5) ... Ranked second on the squad with 64 total blocks (17-47) and a 1.82 kills per set average ... Posted season highs of 17 kills and 44 attempts at Sonoma State (Sept. 26) ... Also came away with a season-best six block assists in the Gators’ four-set triumph at Cal State Stanislaus (Oct. 11). 

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2008 from Otay Ranch High School ... Earned All-Mesa League honors on two occasions ... Was twice voted the Mustangs’ best offensive player ... Recipient of coaches’ award ... Also competed for the Otay Ranch basketball and track teams. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Troy and Dolores Powell ... Has three brothers, Ty, Troy and Trent ... Hobbies include beach volleyball, cooking, singing and hanging out with friends ... Undecided on a major at SF State.
