Biography

2013:  Appeared in all 30 matches, playing a career-high 101 sets…finished the year with 217 kills, on 758 attempts for a .141 attack percentage, all three are career-highs…added 227 digs, boasting 2.25 digs per set while adding 47 total blocks and 26 service aces…recorded her first career double-double with 11 kills and 15 digs in the straight sets win over Cal Baptist to begin the 2013 campaign…had a career-game in the thrilling five-set match against Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 12 recording a career-high 18 kills and 15 digs…she hit a season-best .318 in the match...her 2.15 kills per set was third on the team.

2012: Made an appearance in 79 sets over 28 matches as a sophomore ... registered 51 kills, seven assists, eight aces, 95 digs and three block assists ... Was a member of the SF State Athletics Dean's List for both the fall and spring (2013) semesters.

2011: Appeared in 19 matches as a true freshman after recovering from a preseason leg injury … Posted her first career double-double with season highs of 15 kills and 17 digs as SF State nearly upset nationally ranked UC San Diego at home for the third straight year (Oct. 14) … Recorded three service aces the following night vs. No. 3 Cal State San Bernardino (Oct. 15) … Earned her first collegiate start in the Gators’ sweep of Cal State Stanislaus, finishing with five kills, 10 digs and one block assist (Oct. 21) … Received SF State scholar-athlete recognition and landed on the Gator Athletics Dean’s List for both the fall and spring semesters.

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2011 from Emerald Ridge High School … Was named the Tacoma Athletic Commission’s Athlete of the Year as a senior and received all-state recognition from the Washington State Volleyball Coaches Association … Also captured her team’s most valuable player award and landed on the all-Puget Sound Regional team … Garnered all-South Puget Sound League honors on three occasions, including first-team distinction in 2010 after leading the conference in kills and services aces … Served as team captain for two seasons … Was voted her team’s most dedicated player as a junior and captured the SPSL rookie of the year award following her sophomore season … Also won three letters for community service as a prep.
