Biography

2018-19: Ranked as high as #9 in NCAA Division II at 125 pounds… Took fourth place at the Roadrunner Open at 125 pounds.

2017-18: Finished 22-12… Finished fourth at NCAA Division II Super Regionals and qualified for NCAA Division II Nationals in Iowa… Named to NWCA All-Academic Team… Took third place in the 125-lb. bracket with a 1-1 day at the Menlo College Open… Named Gator of the Week for Jan. 15-21 and Feb. 19-25.

2016-17: Redshirt season.

2015-16:  Posted four wins in injury-laden season… Picked up 13-8 decision in Gators' match against Colorado Mesa.

2014-15:  In first season recorded 18 wins including four by fall and six by technical fall...Finished third at U21 JC/College Open...Also had 34 takedowns....29 three-point near falls.

Before San Francisco State:  SCWAY State Champ… Two-time Daily Republic Wrestler of the Year… Four-time All-City Wrestler… Two-time California State qualifier… Took 6th at SJS Masters, junior season took 5th at same tournament...Broke school records for most nearfall points, technical falls, takedowns, wins, escapes, and major decisions… Rodriguez HS Athlete of the Year… Wrestled for Colts Wrestling Club.
