Head Coach Jason Welch: "The coaching staff and I are really happy with the progress of the team. We had multiple individual placers, up from one placer last year. We have made huge improvements in the past year, and are excited to roll into our first conference matches in a couple weeks."
With the RMAC taking on a new format where each RMAC institution will face one another at least once during the season, the Gators will head to Colorado, where they'll take on Chadron State, tied for 21st in the country in the NWCA national poll, and Colorado Mines, which is receiving votes. Both matches will be held at Volk Gymansium on the campus of Colorado Mines.
