Biography

2018-19: Ranked as high as #7 in NCAA Division II at 125 pounds… Took sixth place at the Roadrunner Open at 125 pounds.

2017-18: Finished 25-7… Ranked No. 5 in NCAA Division II at 133 pounds… Finished second at NCAA Division II Super Regionals and qualified for NCAA Division II Nationals in Iowa… Named to the All-RMAC First Team… Named the RMAC Champion at 133 pounds… Named Gator of the Week for Dec. 1-7, Jan. 29 - Feb 4, and Feb. 19-25… Took the top spot in the 133-lb. bracket with a 3-0 day at the Menlo College Open… Went 3-1 at the UNK Midwest Duals… Won eight consecutive bouts before having his win streak snapped by No. 11 Hunter Haralson of No. 23 Lindenwood in overtime.

2016-17: Went 20-11… Led the team with 49 takedowns… Was third on team with 197 points.

2015-16:  Redshirt season.

Before San Francisco State:  Graduated from De La Salle HS… Two-time East Bay Athletic League Champion… Four-time East Bay Athletic League Finalist… Four-time North Coast Section Finalist (only wrestler from De La Salle)… Three-time North Coast Section Champion… Four-time California Interscholastic Federation State Qualifier… 2015 California Interscholastic Federation State Finalist… Eight-time California Greco State Champion… Six-time California Freestyle State Champion… 2015 De La Salle Athlete of the Year… Sixth at 2014 Jr Fila Greco World team trials… Sixth at 2015 Jr Fila Greco World team trials… Two-time Greco National All American… Also played football at DeLaSalle HS… Played club for Community Youth Center (CYC).
