Brittany Garrett finished fourth out of 43 runners in the event, posting a career-fast time of 17 minutes, 26.74 seconds, which ranks second in school history and tops her previous best of 17:33.24 set at Cal State Fullerton’s Ben Brown Invitational on March 6. She provisionally qualified for the 2010 NCAA Division iI National Championships.
