In the very first competition of her collegiate career, Belk finished second in the javelin throw with a distance of 122-03 at the Kim Duyst Invitational in Turlock, Calif., this past Saturday. The mark is currently eighth on the Gators' all-time career list and ninth in the nation in Division II.
