Luisa Musika provisionally qualified for the 2009 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a first place of 13.43 in the shot put. This mark also ties her for the second best mark in the shot put in school history. Musika also placed second in the discus (37.98 meters), and 12^th in the hammer throw (36.48 meters).
