Andrew Herrera lifted the Gators to a 2-0 week with wins over RV Minnesota State University Moorhead and No. 23 Colorado Mesa, then won the 197-lb. weight class at the Menlo Open. Herrera recorded a 6-3 decision over MSUM' Mitchell Kotschevar and and 11-6 decision over CMU's Anthony Lodermeier. In the Menlo Open, Herrera recorded a fall (2:37) vs. Simon Fraser's Nolan Badovinac, a 6-3 decision vs. Menlo's Bruce Valdez, and secured the top spot with an 18-6 major decision in a rematch with Lodermeier.
