Seattle, Wash.--- Playing in their third straight game on the road, it was the SF State Gators falling 71-53 to the No. 22 Seattle Pacific Falcons (3-0). The Falcons snapped the Gators' winning streak at three while Krystle Mays (Long Beach, California, Chatsworth) led the way for SF State with 10 points. SF State (3-1) is off now until Friday, December 5, when the Gators begin their CCAA season with a home game against Cal State Stanislaus at 5:30pm. 

            “Tonight, we did not have the energy after playing four games in six days,” said SF State Head Coach Joaquin Wallace. “We played hard throughout, but just did not have the legs,” added Wallace. “I am proud of our effort and I will take a 3-1 start with two in-region victories to start the season any day.”

            The Falcons scored the games' first five points, but SF State came back scoring six unanswered points to take its first lead three minutes into the game. Seattle Pacific outscored the Gators 33-17 in the final 17 minutes of the half to take a 38-23 lead into the locker room. SF State was held to just 35% shooting from the field while the Falcons shot 44% from the field with Jordan Harazin leading the way going a perfect three for three from beyond the arc off the bench. 

            Seattle Pacific opened the second half right where it left off the first half with a 12-2 run to increase its lead to 50-25 and never looked back. 

            The Falcons held the Gators to just 33% shooting from the field while forcing 20 turnovers by their opponents. Kelsey Hill and Maddie Maloney led the way for Seattle Pacific each with 12 points. SF State did recorded 11 steals with three coming from Desiree Butler (Lancaster, California, Pasadena City College) and was only out-rebounding by its opponents 44-41 with seven coming from Mays.
