Box Score LA JOLLA, Calif.--- The fourth ranked UC San Diego Tritons remained unbeaten as they improved to 11-0 overall and 5-0 in the CCAA with a 79-44 victory over the visiting SF State Gators at RIMAC Arena on the campus of UC San Diego. Two-time All-American, Chelsea Carlisle, was one of three Tritons to score in double figures as she had a game high 15 points to go along with her six assists and six rebounds.
The Tritons held the Gators to just 26% shooting from the field while forcing 17 turnovers by their visitors. They also held a 56-43 advantage on the boards even though the Gators'
Farrah Shokoor had a season high 11 rebounds.
Michaela Booker paced SF State with 11 points.
Besides Carlisle's 15 points, Daisy Feder chipped in 12 points and Lauren Freidenberg had 10 points and 9 rebounds for the Tritons.
UC San Diego built an early 14-4 lead in the first six minutes of the game led by Feder who scored 6 of her 12 points. Shokoor's lay-up capped a 16-2 run by the Gators as they cut the Triton lead to 20-16, the closest the visitors would get in the game with 6:48 left in the first half.

Angela Van Sickel's three stopped a 12-0 run by the Tritons as UC San Diego took a 32-19 lead in the locker room. Van Sickel finished with 8 points.
UC San Diego continued the second half where the Tritons ended the first half as they outscored SF State 28-8 in the first nine minutes of the new stanza to take a 60-27 lead.
The hosts cruised to a 79-44 conference victory.
SF State (2-8, 1-3 CCAA) will return to the hardwood tomorrow evening at 5:30pm in San Bernardino, Calif., for a CCAA game with the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes. The 11
th ranked Cal Poly Pomona Broncos defeated the Coyotes 62-53 this evening in San Bernardino.
