SAN FRANCISCO ---  The SF State Gator women's basketball team have this week off and will return to the court next week for a pair of non-conference road games.  SF State will travel to the North Bay on Tues., Dec. 11 for a 6pm PST scheduled game with Dominican University of California.  Then on Friday, Dec. 14, SF State will travel down the Peninsula for a 7pm PST starting game wtih Notre Dame de Namur.

The Gators are currently 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the CCAA after splitting its two home CCAA games last weekend.  SF State lost 46-38 to Cal State East Bay last Friday and defeated Cal St. Monterey Bay 49-38 on Saturday evening.  Nicole Hicks leads the Gators with her 13.7 points per game average followed by Farrah Shokoor's 13.6 ppg.  Angela Van Sickel is also averaging double digits with her 12.2 scoring average.  Shokoor also leads the team with her 8.8 rebounding average and 25 steals.

After next week, the Gators will be off until the New Year.  SF State will face Cal State Stanislaus and Chico State on the road on Jan. 4 and 5 respectively in Turlock and Chico Calif.  The Gators will return home the following weekend for conference games with Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State L.A. on Jan. 11 and 12 at The Swamp.  Game times for all four games are 5:30pm PST.
