ROHNERT PARK--- The visiting SF State Gators played to a 0-0 double overtime draw with the #19 Sonoma State Seawolves (7-2-3, 5-2-3 CCAA) this afternoon in a CCAA women's soccer match at Seawolf Soccer Field in Rohnert Park.
Allison Land had six saves en route to her third straight shutout and fifth of the season for the visitors.

Jack Hyde. “The team executed our game play very well and we just missed coming away with the win as
Mari Mendizabal's shot went wide in the second overtime.” “I am very happy coming out of this weekend with four points on the road in this conference.”
Sonoma State defeated the Gators 3-0 earlier this season in San Francisco.
“We told the team after the match, that they have come a long way from when we played Sonoma State the first time,” added Hyde.
Sonoma State outshot the Gators 12-8 including 7-3 in shots on goal attempt. The Seawolves also had a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Elizet Ceja had a chance to give SF State a 1-0 lead early in the first half at in the 15
th minute as her shot went wide right. Six minutes later, Allison Hadidian recorded one of her three saves in goal for the Seawolves as she stopped
Autumn Fox's shot.
The Seawolves had two chances in the 20
th minute to take the lead, but Land stopped by Anna Martin and Cara Curtin's shot on goal attempts.
With less than four minutes left in the half, Ceja had another chance to give the visitors the lead stopped by Hadidian to send the match into the half scoreless.
The Gators (4-5-3, 3-5-2 CCAA) had another chance to take the lead stopped by Hadidian in the 50
th minute, this time the attempt came from
Graceann Rettig. Sonoma State went down the pitch right after that Hadidian stop and Cara Curtin's attempt was prevented from going into the goal by Land.
Land came up big again in the 65
th minute as she stopped Alicia Mertz's attempt to give the hosts the lead.
Neither team attempted a shot on goal attempt the rest of the half as the match went into overtime.
In the first 10-minute period, the Seawolves managed the only shot on goal attempt with 11 seconds left as Land preserved the shutout stopping Martin's attempt from being the hero to send the match into the second sudden death period.
Sonoma State looked like it was going to take the match as Lauren Curtin sent her corner kick to Cara Curtin, but her shot went wide left in the 102
nd minute.
SF State came down the pitch in the 108
th minute after an offside call against Sonoma State and
Mari Mendizabal's header went wide left. One minute later, Sonoma State's Gabby Squarcia's attempt went wide right as the match ended in a 0-0 double overtime tie.
The Gators will return home this coming weekend for a pair of CCAA matches against Cal State East Bay and Cal State Stanislaus. SF State will host Cal State East Bay this coming Friday, October 18 at 3pm at Cox Stadium. Then a week from today, the 7
th ranked Cal State Stanislaus Warriors will come to SF State for a 2pm starting match with the Gators.
