SAN FRANCISCO--- The SF State Gators' women's basketball team will begin their 2013-14 season this Tuesday, Nov. 12 with a home non-conference game against Pacific Union. Tip-off is scheduled at 5pm at The Swamp. After Tuesday's game with Pacific Union, the Gators will travel to Atherton, Calif., for a 6pm scheduled non-conference game with Menlo College.

The Gators are coming off a 12-15 season last year in which they went 9-13 in the CCAA. SF State returns All-CCAA selection Angela Van Sickel along with letter-winners Lauren Varney, Jennifer Le and Brianna Harden. SF State went 0-2 in its two exhibition games last week losing at Nevada (69-82) and at San Jose State (78-100). Katie Batlin led the Gators with her 15.0 scoring aveage while Varney averaged 9.0 rebounds per game and Le shot 69% from the field.

After their game at Menlo on Friday, SF State will host Holy Names on Friday, Nov. 19 at 5pm.
