SAN FRANCISCO---  The SF State Gators' women's basketball team will return home this weekend as they will open up conference play with two home games.  SF State will host Chico State this Friday, Dec. 6 and Cal State Stanislaus this Saturday, Dec. 7.  Tip-off for both games is set for 5:30pm PST at the Swamp.  This will be the Gators' first games since their trip to Canada on Nov. 22 and 23.

The Gators are now 3-2 after going 0-2 in Canada losing 82-72 and 72-68 to Simon Fraser on Nov. 22 and 23.  Katie Batlin leads the team with her 16.2 scoring and 8.8 rebounding averages while she has recorded a team high 18 assists and dished out a team best 14 assists.  Jennifer Le and Lauren Varney are tied for second on the team with their respective 9.8 scoring averages.  Leticia Galarza leads the team with her 57.7% shooting from the field and 66.7% shooting from three's.  

After this weekend, the Gators will return home for a pair of games on Dec. 12 and 13.  SF State will host William Jessup on Thurs., Dec. 12 at 5pm in a non-conference affair.  Then the next night at 5:30pm, the Gators will host Sonoma State in a CCAA game.
