SAN FRANCISCO---The SF State's volleyball team will finally have their first home matches of the season, which will also be their CCAA openers. The Gators will host #8 UC San Diego and #22 Cal State San Bernardino this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20 and 21st. Both matches are scheduled to start at 7pm at the Swamp.

The Gators are 5-3 after going 2-2 last weekend in the Seawolf Spike the past weekend. SF State defeated Dominican (CA) and Montana State-Billings in three while the Gators lost to Hawaii Pacific in four and then #12 Western Washington in three. Meagan Wright paces the Gators with her 87 kills while Jazmine Williams has recorded a team best 15 total blocks. Jessica Nicerio and Jaclyn Clark each lead the team with their 10 service aces and Jacquie Brice is averaging a team high 11.21 assists/set.
