SAN FRANCISCO--- After opening up the CCAA season with two home losses against nationally ranked UC San Diego and Cal State San Bernardino, the SF State Gators will travel to Los Angeles this weekend for a pair of road conference matches. The Gators will face Cal State L.A. this Friday, Sept. 27 in Los Angeles and Cal State Dominguez Hills this Saturday, Sept. 28 in Carson. Game times for both matches is 7pm.

SF State is now 5-5 overall and 0-2 in the CCAA after falling in three sets to then #8 UC San Diego and in five sets to then #22 Cal State San Bernardino. Meagan Wright leads the way for the Gators with her 98 total kills in 35 sets and she also has a team high 20 total blocks. Kaileen Mejia has a team high .358 hitting percentage and Jacquie Brice has a team leading 10.89 assists/set average. Jessica Nicerio is leading the Gators wtih her 4.35 digs/set average and is tied with Jaclyn Clark for the team lead with 12 service aces.

After this weekend, the Gators will return home to begin a four-game home stand on Friday, October 4 at 7pm against Chico State.
