SAN FRANCISCO--- The SF State Gators' men's basketball team will conclude their five-game road trip this week with a pair of conference games at both ends of the State of California. The Gators will face Cal Poly Pomona this Thursday, Jan. 9 in Pomona. Then this Saturday, Jan. 11, SF State will travel to Northern California to Arcata to face Humboldt State. Tip-off for both games is scheduled for 7:30pm PST.
SF State is in a tie for fourth place with Chico State after going 1-1 last weekend. The Gators are one game behind third place, Cal Poly Pomona, and two games behind co-leaders Cal State San Bernardino and Cal State L.A.
Nefi Perdomo is averaging a team leading 20.7 points per game to go along with his team high 19 steals and 53% shooting from the field. The senior guard is also shooting a team best 45% from three-point land with 27 three's.
Calvin Otiono leads the team with his 36 assists while
Will Overton, Jr. is averaging 14.4 points per game and shooting 88% from the line, which leads the team.
Brandon Tatum is averaging a team leading 4.7 rebounds per game and has blocked 10 shots.
After this weekend, the Gators will return home to host #19 Cal State San Bernardino on Jan. 17 at 7:30pm.
