                     San Francisco – After spending the previous four matches enjoying the friendly confines of SF State's gymnasium, the women's volleyball team returns to the road this week playing three matches in four days.  First up for the Gators is a meeting with rival Sonoma State on Wednesday before taking on Cal State East Bay and Cal State Monterey Bay on Friday and Saturday.
SF State enters this week's matches with an overall record of 5-6 which includes a 3-3 mark in CCAA action.  The Gators are fresh off a 1-1 weekend after taking down Cal Poly Pomona in a thrilling five set victory on Friday before falling to then No. 19 UC San Diego in four sets.
The Gators enter this week 49
th in the country in hitting percentage; they are hitting .228 as a team.  In the conference SF State is tops in the CCAA with 586 kills and is third in kills per set, averaging 13.63.  Leading the team is junior 
Jaclyn Clark who boasts 2.81 kills per set and has tallied 121 on the year.  Senior middle blocker 
Jazmine Williams is 57
th in the country in hitting percentage at .346.
Senior setter 
Jacquie Brice is 34
th in the country in assists per set, averaging 10.6.  She currently ranks eight all-time in assists as a Gator with 1,601.  
Jessica Nicerio is third all-time in digs with 1,096.  She is currently third in the conference with 188 total digs.
Sonoma State (6-4/4-2 CCAA) is coming off a 2-0 weekend with wins over UC San Diego and Cal Poly Pomona.  The Seawolves are currently receiving 18 votes in the AVCA Coaches Top-25 Poll.  As a team, the Seawolves average 13.8 kills per set and are hitting .223.  Their opponents are hitting .190 while averaging 12.2 kills per set.  Sonoma State is led by junior outside hitter Caylie Seitz who is sixth in the country in kills per set (4.67), 10
th in points per set (4.83), and 36
th in total kills (182).  Wednesday's match is slated for a 7:00 p.m. first serve.
Cal State East Bay enters Friday night's contest with a 5-6 mark and is 2-4 in the CCAA.  The Pioneers have lost three of their last four matches.  As a team, they are hitting .207 which ranks sixth in the CCAA.  They average 12.19 kills per set which ranks ninth in the conference.
Cal State Monterey Bay is 2-8 so far this season and is 2-4 in the CCAA.  The Otters split last weekend falling in straight-sets to Cal State L.A. on the road before defeating Cal State Dominguez Hills in three sets.  As a team the Otters average 10.81 kills per set which ranks 12
th in the CCAA.  Their opponents average 14.69 kills per set and are hitting .255.
