Set One

Morris' first kill of the night, which came off an assist by Jensen and ricocheted off the Coyote block ended a 6-0 San Bernardino run to start the contest. A Jessica Haynie swing that went to the corner, coupled with a pair of Coyote attack errors narrowed the deficit, 9-7. The hosts pushed their lead to seven at 15-8 as part of a 5-0 run before Tabron recorded her first point of the night, ending the streak. Tabron and Jensen teamed up for a big block down the stretch, and Morris added another kill as SF State added to the scoreboard. However the Coyotes got three-straight points including a pair of swings by the CCAA kills leader Alexis Cardoza for the 25-14 set one win.

A block by Tabron and Marlena Billings cut the Coyote lead to four, but the hosts once again continued to toll as they went back up by seven, 13-6.
