SAN RAMON, Calif. - Jessica Haynie and Olivia Tabron of the San Francisco State volleyball team have earned All-CCAA honors, the California Collegiate Athletic Association announced this morning. Haynie was named to the All-CCAA Second Team while Tabron earned Honorable Mention recognition.
Haynie notched 296 kills in her first season donning the Purple and Gold, which leads the team. Her 0.44 aces per set are the second most in the CCAA and her 3.20 kills per set ranks her ninth in the Conference. Additionally, the outside hitter's 3.90 points per set is the seventh-highest in the CCAA and first on the team. The Winchester, California native's 37 aces so far this season are already the most by a Gator since 2012.
Tabron is one of six Gators to appear in all 25 matches this season. The Gilroy, California native ranks third on the team with 222 kills as well as with a .280 attack percentage, and is second with 79 total blocks. The senior's 0.91 blocks per set is the seventh best in the CCAA, and her 77 block assists this season are tied-for-eighth all time in program history.
Haynie and Tabron become the first All-CCAA honorees for SF State since 2015.
