  • This is the sixth 30+ win season in program history and first since 2009. The 31 wins for SF State (31-16) are tied for the fourth-most in Gator history.
  • SF State, who is ranked No. 4 in the NCAA West Region Poll, was a perfect 6-for-6 in stolen base attempts on the day and now have 115 on the year, which is the second most in history, trailing just last year's team who had 125.
  • Sydney Jenkins threw out two more baserunners on the day to bring her CCAA-leading total to 21 as the Urban Knights (14-18) did not get a stolen base.
  • Nina Revoir went 3-for-4 with one RBI in game one and logged another hit and run batted in in game two. Brylynn Vallejos added another hit as she now has 76, which is the second most in SF State history for hits in a season. Heading into the game the freshman ranked third in the nation for hits.
  • Katelyn Sturm clubbed her fourth home run of the year, which game in game one on a two-run shot to left.
  • Samantha Alvarez got her seventh multi-hit game of the year as she went 2-for-3 in game one.
  • The pair of wins gives the program 797 and they look to capture No. 800 next week as they wrap up the regular season.
  • It is the 11th win in their last 12 games.

How They Scored
  • Vallejos led off the first with a triple to left and Hayley Nunes followed with a walk. Michelle Castro hit a sacrifice fly to center to score Vallejos for the first run and Nunes went to second on a wild pitch. Revoir then got her first of three hits as she singled to left to score Nunes for the 2-0 lead.
  • In the second, Alvarez doubled and went to third on a wild pitch. Vallejos plated the fellow freshman with a sacrifice fly to center to widen the lead to 3-0.
  • Two more came across in the third, and Revoir got the rally started with a base hit up the middle. She was replaced by pinch runner Latrice Thompson, who then stole second. This brought up Sturm who hit her fourth home run of the year to left to make it a 5-0 advantage.
  • Jenkins led off the fourth with a single to left and stole second. Vallejos reached on a fielding error that advanced Jenkins to third, and she then scored on a throwing error by the third baseman as Nunes popped up to her. Vallejos went to second on the play, stole third, and scored on another Urban Knight throwing error to push it to 7-0.
  • The Gators walked off in the sixth with Tianna Jacques leading off with a walk and going to third on Castro's double to left-center. Jacques scored as she beat the tag at home on Sturm's fielder's choice to the pitcher.
