TURLOCK, California - A pair of complete games propelled the San Francisco State softball team to two more wins on Sunday as they completed the four-game series sweep of Stanislaus State. The Gators won game one 3-2 before holding off the Warriors in game two, 2-1.
- With the pair of wins, SF State (24-14/17-11 CCAA) matches its win total from last year. The victory is its fifth straight CCAA contest and their eighth conference win in their last nine games. The Gators moved up to fourth place in the CCAA standings.
- Emily Mitchell struck out two in all seven innings while allowing just three hits in game one for her eighth win of the season. Karla Soto followed with her seventh complete game of the year with a season-high five strikeouts and one earned.
- Katelyn Sturm went 2-for-3 for her sixth multi-hit game of the season and scored a run in game one. Lehua DeLeon, Samantha Alvarez and Sydney Jenkins each added RBI.
- SF State stole a combined five bases, bringing their season total to 96 which is tied for the third-most in program history.
- Hayley Nunes has now reached base in a career-best 14 straight games.
- The series sweep is the first this campaign.
- The Gators have now won seven straight over the Warriors (17-26/10-18 CCAA) in Turlock, California.Â
GAME ONE

In the second, Sturm doubled and went to third on Nunes' fielders choice. Sturm scores the first run as DeLeon also reached on a fielder's choice, and Alvarez singled home Nunes. After DeLeon stole third, Jenkins knocked a base hit to right center to plate DeLeon for the 3-0 lead.Â
In the bottom half, Kayla Fajardo hit a two-run double to left as the Warriors got on the scoreboard.Â

- Mitchell retired the Warriors in order in the third, fourth and sixth en route to her seventh complete game of the season.Â
GAME TWO
- Michelle Castro tripled to right in the first and scored on Nina Revoir's double to left for the first run.
- In the second, Nunes tripled to right and scored on after DeLeon reached on an error for the 2-0 lead.
- The hosts battled back in the sixth with Aliyah Garvin scoring on a base bit by Deja Guzman. The Gators turned a 1-4-3 double play to get out of the jam in the inning.Â

- Soto earned her second win in just as many days to bring her season total to a career-high 11. The senior walked none in the outing.
