By the Numbers

  • SF State (26-15/19-12 CCAA) now has its most wins since 2009 when they won 31. The Gators also match their CCAA win total from a year ago. Additionally, the pair of wins gives Head Coach Alicia Reid 50 for her career.
  • It is the first time the Gators have recorded back-to-back shutouts since 2013 when they blanked No. 21 Grand Canyon, 1-0, before defeating Dominican 5-0.
  • The 244 total runs scored are the second most in Gator history, trailing the 2007 team who posted 291 runs.
  • Brylynn Vallejos tallied multiple hits in game one and two of the day, giving her 21 multi hit games this season which are the most by a Gator in the last seven seasons. The freshman also broke in to the top ten for hits in a season and currently sits at sixth with 69.
  • Michelle Castro went 3-for-3 in game won with three batted in and three runs scored. She also added another double for her 12th of the season, which is tied for ninth-most in a season, and now has 29 on her career, which is tied for the eighth- most.
  • Katie Rohrer, Tianna Jacques, Samantha Alvarez and Hayley Nunes each had a pair of hits in game one. Alvarez had a career-best three hits in game two of the day and also scored a pair of runs.
  • Katelyn Sturm slugged a home run in game two and three, and is now second on the team with three dingers this year.
  • Nina Revoir hit her first collegiate home run in game three of the day to give SF State a 2-0 lead in the first.
  • Emily Mitchell allowed no earned runs as she tossed six innings in game two with three strikeouts.
