NEW ORLEANS – The men's and women's San Francisco State track & field teams both earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors, the organization announced this morning. Additionally, five from the No. 5 women's team took home individual All-Academic recognition.
The men's team earns the award in its first season back after being reintroduced this past February. The Gators were one of just four men's teams from California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) institutions to earn this award. The women made it 13-straight USTFCCCA All-Academic team awards and their 15
th overall.

Bianca Bryant and
Destiny Mack-Talalemotu make it back-to-back honors, and
Kennedy Hardemion earns her second appearance on the individual team. A total of 448 women earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors during the 2018-19 track & field seasons, 14 of which are from CCAA institutions. The five honorees are the most of any other CCAA school.
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic award, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have reached a provisional or automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships in either the indoor or outdoor season. In order to earn All-Academic honors, teams had to earn a 3.0 GPA or better. In total, 209 programs were honored by the USTFCCCA for their academic achievements.
