NEW ORLEANS — The San Francisco State men's and women's track & field teams have both been named 2021 NCAA Division II Track & Field All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced.
 
The men's team makes it three consecutive honors after the program was reintroduced in February 2019. Both team's GPAs rose from a year ago – the SF State men posted a 3.22 cumulative GPA while the women boast an impressive a 3.47 cumulative GPA. The women made it 15-straight USTFCCCA All-Academic team awards and their 17^th overall.
 
In order to earn All-Academic honors, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA Squad List for Indoor and/or Outdoor Track and Field must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
