- SF State finishes the home season with a 8-1 record, the teams' second-best home record of the Matt Hoffman era. The Gators went undefeated at home in 2021.
- As a team, the Gators recorded 73 kills, one shy of tying a single match record. Izzy Issak added 16 kills for the Gators.
- The team matched a single match record in assists with 71. Kimberly DeBoer set a new career-high with 63. The 63 assists ranks second in a single match.

The Gators found themselves playing catch-up after starting the match down 9-2 before the first SF State time-out was taken. Briana DeBoer had three aces in a 6-0 run to get the Gators within one at 17-16. SF State reclaimed the lead and had a chance to clinch the set at 24-23 but a service error from Issak gave Humboldt the serve back and a couple more service miscues lead to a lumberjack set win.
Similar to set two, the Gators fell behind early. Down 19-13, Issak lead the way with three kills in a 6-0 run to tie the set up. The two teams exchanged points for a couple more rallies before an SF State Service error gave the serve back to Humboldt and the Lumberjacks won the next two rallies.
Facing defeat, the Gators opened set three on a 8-0 run and never looked back. The Gators finished the set with a .500 hitting percentage and only two attack errors.
After the Gators held a size-able lead throughout the fourth set, the Lumberjacks came back to cut the Gators lead to two. A kill from Issak, Wilson and Aidan Goodrich during a 3-0 run put the Gators at set point up 24-19 and Wilson closed the door on the set with a kill.
Humboldt started set five 5-0 with a pair of aces before SF State called a timeout. Coming out of the timeout, Wilson landed a kill to spark a 7-0 run. The Lumberjacks tied things up again at 7-7 but Wilson landed two more kills in a 4-0 run to reclaim the lead for SF State. Humboldt came back within one but late service errors stopped their momentum and the Gators were able to come away with a win.
