How it Happened

The Gators put together a dominate performance in set one, clipping a hitting percentage of .583. Wilson had six kills in the set while Goodrich had four.

SF State was not as crisp on the attack as they were in set two but held the Otters to a -.118 hitting percentage and recorded five aces in the set.

Down 8-7 in set three, the Gators called a time out. The Otters showed some fight in set three and kept things close with the Gators. Down 12-10, the Gators swung momentum to their side and used a 6-1 scoring run to go up 16-13. The Otters were forced to side out anytime they received the serve the rest of set three.
