How It Happened

Tied at six all in set one, Anastacia Garza landed back to back kills to close out a 4-0 run to give the Gators a cushion the rest of the set. The Toros would only cut the lead to two once down 13-11 but Wilson landed back-to-back kills to give the Gators the cushion again.

The Gators offense clicked well in set two as 21 of their 25 points came from kills. At set point 24-15, errors allowed the Toros to stay in the set but Wilson landed her tenth kill of the set to give the Gators the set win.

After being tied at 7-7 in set three, the Gators dominated the rest of way and only allow four more points from the Toros. SF State held Dominguez Hills to a -.037 hitting percentage.
