How it Happened

The Gators went up 7-2 early and led for the first five minutes. Still up five at the 13-minute mark, the Toros used a 12-0 over a two-minute period run to grab the lead, 18-17, on a Washington three-pointer and grew that lead to 24-17. SF State pulled to within four but trailed 38-29 at the half. The two teams played evenly, 33-33, in the second half.
