SAN FRANCISCO - Game one of the series finale doubleheader between San Francisco State and Sonoma State resulted in a 22-9 loss that took four hours to conclude. The two teams got a late start in game two. The Gators rallied in the fourth inning to take the lead but the game was halted due to darkness at the top of the sixth with the Gators up 9-6. A day to resume the game is TBD.

- SF State falls to 18-11 and 12-7 in the CCAA. Sonoma improves to 12-13 and 6-9 in the CCAA.
- Justin Johnson now has eight straight games with an RBI and hit to continue to add to is CCAA leading total.
- Jacob French hit a lead-off triple in game two, completing the cycle for the series with Sonoma.
- The Gators were unable to get out of their own way in game one, recording a season high seven errors and a season high hit by pitches. The pitching staff also gave up 10 walks.
- River Diaz De Leon hit his first career home run in game one.
Game One
The Gators fell behind early in game one.
Matt Sugden hit an RBI double to cut the deficit to 4-1 in the second. A slew of errors added two runs in the third before Sonoma broke the game open with eight in the fourth. Down 18-3 in the seventh, Diaz De Leon breathed some life into the offense with a two-run homer but the Gators could dig themselves out of the hole.

Game two
French hit a lead off triple and Santos brought him home with a sac fly the fouled out past first. Sonoma scored three runs on three hits in the second to take the lead. A couple of errors helped the Gators put runs on in the bottom of the inning as they were about to tie things up. Sonoma loaded the bases with no outs in the third but
Ethan Remmers came on to pitch and got the Gators out of the jam.
Sonoma hit an RBI single to take a lead in the fourth. The Gators looked to flip the inning with two outs but an error from the shortstop allowed the bases to load and a 2RBI double from the next at bat extended the lead 6-3. The Gators used a huge two-out rally in the bottom of the inning to take the lead. With bases loaded, Johnson hit a 2RBI single down the right line to come within one. A hit batter loaded the bases and Aj Schrader had a momentum changing triple to take a 8-6 lead.

Daniel Santos hit an RBI single up the middle in the fifth for insurance. With sunset coming shortly at the top of the sixth, the officials elected to halt the game.

- Ethan Remmers gave a scoreless frame in the third and tossed two strikeouts.
- French pitched an inning in the fourth, giving up three runs with only one marked as earned.
- Trent Lopez had a strong fifth inning, tossing three ks to preserve the lead.
- As the game stands, Sonoma starting pitcher Tanner Fonoti is on the hook for the loss while French would get the win.
