Why SF State: Chose SFSU because I saw the goals coach Schifano had for this program and was excited to be a part of it. Following my junior and senior high school seasons I knew I would have a number of options to choose from, but none as inspiring as SFSU. A lot of programs will offer their long history, accolades, and successful alumni as reasons for players to choose their school, but coach Schifano went a different route. He explained to me how he'd begun building the program over the past five years and his vision for the future. I could already see he had made huge strides in developing a winning culture here at SF State and was inspired to be a part of not just a great team, but a great future for this school and its baseball program.
