SAN FRANCISCO - The RV San Francisco State volleyball team opened up home action with its first match of the Route 92 Invite. The Gators dispatched CSU Pueblo in three straight sets with scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-21.

- The Gators improve to 2-2 and hand the Thunderwolves their first loss of the season. Pueblo was selected to finish fifth in the RMAC.
- Tamiya Wilson and Izzy Issak both had double-doubles on the afternoon. Wilson landed 15 kills while Issak had 12. Each had 10 digs.
- The Gators had major advantages in kills (42 to 27) and aces (10 to three).
- The Thunderwolves were led by Sadie Scoville who had eight kills.
- Kimberly DeBoer had 38 assists on the day.

Down 4-3, the Gators went on a 5-2 run to force a time-out and take the lead for good in the set. The Gators recorded a set-high four aces in the first set with Issak, Wilson,
Kimberly DeBoer and
Brianna DeBoer all landing kills.
Issak had a hug set two, landing seven kills to help the Gators cruise to their second set win of the day. The Gators hit .375 percent in the second set compared to the Thunderwolves .063.
The Gators would lead by as much as five in the third set but were never able to fully pull away from Pueblo. An attack error from the Gators tied things up 19-19. But a service error from the Thunderwovles gave the serve back to the Gators and SF scored four straight points to swing momentum back to their side and win.
