- With 33 assists on the night, Kimberly DeBoer now has 3016 career assists, making her one of three Gators to record over 3,000.

Down by four, the Gators went on a 5-0 run to take a 13-12 lead in set one. Issak served as the catalyst during the run and recorded a solo block and a pair of kills. The Broncos landed three straight kills to lead 24-22. Issak got the Gators within one with another kill but the Broncos shut the door on a comeback with a kill from Novak on the next rally.
The Gators fell behind early in set two and were never able to close the gap. While they did record more kills than the Broncos in the set (13 to 11), Pomona had five aces and three blocks. The Gators recorded zero in both categories.
An 8-1 run put the Gators up 17-14 in the third set. Coming out of a timeout, the Broncos used a 6-0 run to reclaim the lead in the set. The Gators would get back within one two more times in the set but ultimately could not string enough points together to retake the lead.
