Errors piled up early for the Gators as East Bay was able to take an early 6-2 lead before a timeout was called. The Gators were able to tie the set up but errors continued to plague the Gators as they faded down the stretch.
After a poor set two, the Gators opened the third set 7-1 with a serving error interrupting the scoring run. A 4-0 run put the Gators up 11-3 and the Gators held a cushion the rest of the set.
In a back and forth set four, Gators finally pulled away near the end of set with a 4-1 run featuring a pair of kills from Wilson to go up 23-21. East Bay called back-to-back timeouts, only for Wilson to land a kill on the ensuing serves.
