- Fed Pernell had a career-high 19 points for the Gators. He also led the Gators in rebounds (five) and assists (five)
- Maximilian Parmigiani made his first appearance for the Gators and added 10 points.
- The Gators shot a season best 44.1 percent from the field but were not able to slow down Fresno Pacific who shot 55.8 percent. They also shot 47.4 percent from three while the Gators shot 26.7 percent.
- FPU held a 33-27 advantage on rebounds.
Tied at 10-10, Fresno Pacific had back-to-back three point plays to take their first lead of the game. The Sunbirds extended their lead to lead by as much as 20 in the first half. Down 42-23 with less than three minutes to go, the Gators closed out the half going 3-for-4 from the field. Mason Harris scored two of the baskets for the Gators as they cut the lead to 42-31 heading into the locker room.
The Gators were unable to cut the lead to single digits in the second half. While they improved their shooting to 46.7 percent for the half, the Sunbirds also improved to 57.7 percent.
