SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State volleyball team hosted Cal State Monterey Bay for the final home for the 2025 season. The Gators brushed off a rough first set to take the next three and beatthe Otters 3-1 (9-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-18).

- The Gators improve to 9-13Â on the season and 8-7Â in the CCAA. The Gators sit tied for sixth and all four teams below them have a 5-10 conference record. Monterey Bay drops to 6-16 and 5-10 in the CCAA.
- Grace Witcher led the Gators with 21 kills, 13 digs and four blocks. She also added an ace to improve to 49 aces on the season and seventh most in a single season.
- Lindsey Olsen had a career-high six blocks.
- Melanie Hewlett dished 41 assists.
- Gators held the Otters to a .137 attacking percentage.

The Gators could not figure it out to start the match and had several errors early in the first set. Down 18-9, the Otters went on a 7-0 run. The Gators and Otters played a close second set until a 8-0 run by the Gators to put them up 23-14. Six different Gators recorded a kill with Witcher, Goodrich and Wilson each recording three.
Trailing throughout the third set, the Gators went on a 4-1 run to come within one of the Otters and force a timeout down 19-18. The Gators went on another 4-1 run tied 20-20 with Witcher having a hand in all four points. The Otters landed a kill to extend the match but an attack error shut the door on a Otter comeback.
A 7-0 run down 7-6 gave the Gators a cushion. The Otters came within two of the Gator lead at 20-18 but the Gators had five straight kills with Witcher recording four of them.
