SAN FRANCISCO - Despite having one of its best shooting performances of the season, the San Francisco State men's basketball team dropped its final home contest of 2025 to Seattle Pacific 70-68.

Buciak had eight of the Gators' 13 points in an early 13-9 lead. Gators called timeout after SPU tied it at 15-15 and immediately scored to retake the lead. The two teams stayed within a possession the majority of the remainder of the quarter. Tied 34-34 with a little over two and a half minutes to go, Seattle Pacific outscored the Gators 10-2 to take a lead into halftime.
Seattle Pacific had their biggest lead of the game up 12 points with 16:09 remaining in the second half. The Gators slowly chipped away at the lead. Pollard sunk a three-point basket to cut their lead to 59-56 with 7:06 to go. Markees Williams tied the game with a three at 61-61 and a pair of shots at the line from Buciak gave the Gators their first lead since the first half with 4:32 to go. Tied at 68-68 with 43 seconds remaining, Milandev Chantha missed his shot to give the Gators the lead. A foul on the other end sent Henry Sandberg to the line. Sandberg made both shots. Williams missed a shot to tie it for the Gators. With five seconds remaining, Seattle Pacific's inbound pass sailed into the hands of Buciak but the Gators couldn't secure the game-tying basket.
